I don't normally write reviews, but I just had to! This fire looks and acts just like a real fire I saw the video on you tube and couldn't really believe that an electric fire could look like that well, it does. I am truly amazed at it. I do not know how they do it! I was originally looking at the gel fires, but saw the cost of the cans and I knew we would rarely put it on. This fire comes with a remote and after filling the small water tank, you even get a smoke effect!

The flame looks very real. My only complaints are that you can't stack any logs over the 'flame' or else it breaks it up too much and doesn't produce much of the flame, and that I wish the cords were a little more well hidden towards the back.
