Looked into buying the a self feeding grate but was unsure if it would fit the dimensions of my metal fab fireplace.. Purchased this one instead and I couldn't be happier at less than half of the price.. It is a heavy solid and well build fireplace grate that will last for many many years..

Best Deals for J-23 23x18 Cast Grate

Seems like a silly thing but I have had cheesy fireplace grates. This one is solid and I like the enclosed edges. It makes it last longer. I always have fires going and this has proved to last over 6 years. I just now had to replace it and bought the same one.

I purchased this grate as a replacement for my fireplace as the older grate had finally gotten so hot the legs and middle bent down. This product was delivered as promised and I have been very satisfied with the grate as it has performed as advertised. It is heavy duty and not light like the previous grate I purchased from one of the chain home improvement stores. I am now in my second year of using it and will recommend this grate to anyone who needs a replacement as I did.
