I bought these in a multi-pack, and at least half either didn't work, or died within the first few uses. The price was great relative to other similar products, but you get what you pay for.

Over the years I have tried nearly every brand of disposable butane "candle" lighter on the market. On most,ignition is slow

and flame is paltry. While far from ideal, this red Coleman (now apparently discontinued) has been the best of a sorry lot. Maybe the new black version, which claims "jet-like" gas rush and wind resistance, will prove even better.

Very disappointed with this purchase ...the lighter is extremely difficult to use ...it is painful to try to deploy ...when and if it finally does light the flame is so tiny it barely lights a candle ...2 of the 4 I purchased do not work at all...save your money

One of the two has never worked at all. The other one works, but it is very hard to use because the trigger mechanism is so tight and it takes the gas so long to come out.

I had one of these before, a cheap version, that worked fine. I had thought the ones made by Coleman would be a step up, Unfortunately, they were a step down.

The seller was great -product arrived promptly.
