We've had the boot scraper for a few years. Heavy enough not to move around too much. Use it more as a stop to keep the gate open. Started rusting around edges after first winter outdoors, but just gave it kind of a patina. Holding up well. Good deal for the price. And if you like dachshunds, it's a bonus!This was a gift for my wife to match one we had seen at a garage sale but did not buy.
