I wanted something to use in a small firepit on our porch and wood and propane were out of the question. I started to do some research and found this gel fuel log set and since the price was the best I had seen and they fit the bill, I ordered them. They are great. I even used them in the indoor fireplace insert one night when there was a storm and the power was out for several hours. It gave off a wonderful light and warmed up the living room, and the fuel cans lasted close to three hours.

Love it. Had it going for the first time on a cold Arizona Saturday evening. We sat outside with our after dinner coffee and the ambiance was great, looked like a real fire going. We have it in our chimchimeny, and the heat that came from the top even warmed our space a bit.

We are thrilled with this set after having to return very easily I might add-another type of log set to amazon. We wanted so bad a firepit for our patio. We have restrictions being in a co-op. No real fire pits etc allowed. We went to local Home depot and bought a nice holder and mesh top for this log set and its PERFECT. The crackling sound from the gel cans and flames look and sound so real--so smoothing and we are sitting outside almost every night. Gives off a little warmth as our patio space area is small. There is a larger set with 4 can opening, maybe we will buy that in future. FYI, we purchased fuel cans and snuffer from amazon as well--great bundle price.
