The color on the picture on my Mac looks almost cherry red. As others have pointed out, the ottoman is actually more of a medium burgundy, which is the color I was looking for and thanks to the reviewers who mentioned this, I now have this very nice storage piece acting as a window seat in our study. It's very sturdy and came fully assembled and well protected in its shipping box. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the color issue, which worked out well for me but would not work out so well for someone looking for a "red" ottoman. For a "burgundy" storage ottoman in its price range, it's worth 5 stars, as it would not disappoint.

The first ottoman I bought was actually an anniversary gift from my in-laws, and a very generous one! We loved it immediately; it took the place of a coffee table since we can't have the glass anymore with our infant son. I can't believe how much it holds and it's so easy to wipe clean. It's great. Great quality. This item is listed as red but it is more oxblood or burgandy. I went by other reviews on the color because I wanted the deeper tone and not red. It is a beautiful, well made leather ottoman.
