I have an old prefab fireplace built in the 70's that has not damper or glass doors so this was perfect. The only thing I dont like is the hose was a little too short but other that that if fist great.

I found the product to be a little clumsy to install and to re-install after each fire is completely out and the metal insert has completely cooled. The plug itself is not preventing cold air from entering. I would have to say it is not really as good as advertised.Best Deals for FIREPLACE PLUG RND METAL
