We actually have an old one like that that is not non-stick. We're never buying another corn popper. This takes a little to get used to but once you do, you won't have to deal with burnt kernels or wasted unpopped corn again.
We bought ours for camping but didn't start using it until our machine broke. Well, forget replacing the machine. We'll just stick with this.

Purchased this item for a family campout, it literally fell apart in my hand the first time I used it. The 2-piece extension handle was poorly welded and just popped off causing the popper to fall into the coals. This is the best corn popper for campfires! It pops almost every kernel and is non stick. The only thing I would improve upon is to offer a longer handle. It needs to be twice as long for campfires. No one else makes one with a longer handle, but at least with this one, you could add on to it if the extensions were available. Right now, the only thing you could do is buy 2 and combine the handles.
