These glow really pretty colors and are great for either a romantic atmosphere, just some fun or having a party of any sort. They are a little messy and the coating does crumble off. So, I always keep some hand-wipes nearby for wiping hands after use.

I do not recommend these for children. The chemicals are a bit toxic.

I took a chance on this product because I couldn't locate anything similar in local stores. We had received some as a gift some years ago and wanted to use them again. Well, these worked great! You get great, long lasting color and they're fun! We really enjoyed them, especially at Christmas, and still have some left over. I know we'll purchase them again!

These color pine cones are fun to put in our wood burning fireplace and burn for a long period of time, but the color that burns is not as brilliant as other pine cones that I've bought from Plow & Hearth. Still, my kids like them & they are fun to look at in the fireplace.

these cones are so much fun, especially for kids...they really turn the flames a nice deep shade of blue for several minutes

works as said each cone lasts about 15 min of color price might be high for the size don't know for sure though
