I received this item today in the mail and I could not believe how beautiful it was when I put it in front of the fireplace in the master bedroom. We purchased this fireplace screen to keep our cats out of a gas-fired fireplace that is faced in white marble. Mission accomplished. The style is simple without being plain, providing a nice contrast against a light background. And the screen is adequately heavy to resist an occasional furry glancing thump, without being unwieldy. We were tired of the dreary black this and black that around the fireplace, and this screen is just gorgeous when a fire is actually going. Solid, well made. Only issue we have (if any) are the cracks between the panels are surprisingly large. We were thinking sparks would fit through, but so far none have made it out to the carpets. Yet. So a 5 it is
