Not only was the shipping box damaged but the inner box was damaged and included a note from a previous purchaser outlying damage to the screen. It was not in the condition as specified in the description and is unusable with missing hardware and a torn screen.

We recently remodeled our fireplace, using some beautiful mosaic travertine tile on the facing and a slab of tan brown granite on the hearth. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a fireplace screen and wanted something with character. Originally I wanted a flat screen that would fit flush with fireplace opening, but when I saw this one I changed my mind. The screen is well-made, quite heavy, and a great choice!
