Purchased this blower for our Superior Brand Gas Fireplace. It is the same as a Lennox. Downloaded and looked at the instructions for the blower and the diagrams matched our fireplace exactly. Received the fan assembly and installed it in about 10 minutes (5 of which was to vacuum out the dusty baseplate). The builder had a wall-switch controlled outlet pre-installed in the bottom of the fireplace. The fan sat right in place behind 2 tabs. Once in place, I bent the tabs up to sit into 2 slots on the fan base, plugged it into the outlet and I was done. The fan is a bit loud, but after I installed the rotary speed switch (not absolutely required) in place of the toggle switch in the wall outlet box, I can lower the speed to just barely audible. Extremely happy with the product and the whole installation process. Bear in mind that our fireplace model is one of the models that this blower was specifically designed for.

The FBK-200 is a variable speed blower kit that includes a rheostat variable speed controller, but DOES NOT include a thermostat. The FBK-200's rheostat is designed to replace an existing wall switch. The wall switch operates the electrical outlet below your fireplace.
If no designated wall switch for the blower is present, the FBK-250 blower kit must be used.
Another feature added to our FBK-200 kit is a galvanized mounting bracket. Over time, common steel brackets have a tendency to rust. Our galvanized brackets are treated with a zinc protective coating to inhibit rust and ensure your blower's bracket continues to look and function like the day you purchased it.

Went to the folks who sold us the firebox for the Lennox FBK-200 blower and was blown away by the price.Ordered the blower from Fireplace Blowers on line via Amazon at 60% of the cost.
It came as advertised and installed easily.The velcro method of securing to the firebox bottom made it about as easy as it gets. The only challenge was assembling the rheostat, could have used some instruction about what order the nut assembled to the bracket and cover plate, had to do it twice to get it right

It utilizes the heat that is there. Fireplaces are supposed to give warmth. It warms the area. I'm happy with it.
