Used this to seal smoke leaks on the doors of my Master Forge Smoker purchased from Lowes. Seals the doors completely and no smoke escapes. I needed two packages of this to seal both doors, but it went on easily and so far works great!

I am giving this product 3 stars because the sealant is more like a hard glue. The glue penetrates the seal and makes it hard. I would up using some Permatex sealant from the auto parts store instead. The rope part of the kit is really good. I've used several of these in different sizes over the past couple of years (because it's the only brand my local Home Depot carries). Overall, I cannot recommend it. I've had no problem with installation but the gasket itself simply doesn't last. I find myself having to replace it every couple of months during the winter since the gasket turns black and starts crumbling away. (I light a fire approximately 3-4 times/week for 6-8 hours at a time.)
