This is EXACTLY what I was looking for...the size is just right and it isn't flimsy or cheap-looking. Recently had 2 hot coals fall on it (instead of my carpet!) and I was able to get them back in the fireplace and no harm was done...you can't even see where they landed on the rug. it slips on floor so one must buy a non slip pad...but other than this it is in great shape. good quality rug.
