it worked well --i saw the bad review, so i figured I should say something. It seemed to do what it's supposed to do. Granted, it does seem too expecnsive, but for my purposes it's worked as advertised and is strong as heck.

This product is easy to install and blocks virtually all of the draft in my fireplace. It took me longer to clean out my hearth than to position and inflate the plug.

I purchased one of these about two months ago, and was glad it was so easy to install. I'm not very good at assembling things...very little patience. Even after two months, the seal is remarkably tight. Some cold air still gets through, but it has reduced the volume of the cold air into the living room by about 95%. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quick and inexpensive (relatively) way to block the cold air that comes down the chimney.

The concept of a fire place plug is good but this particular model is difficult to install and overpriced. I would not recommend it.

Stopped draft the instant it was installed, fit perfect, and easy to install. Works great. Was priced fairly resonably. Waiting for next heating bill to see change.
