We ordered this entertainment center, and paid for expedited shipping. We never received a tracking number or notice as to when it shipped just a time frame for arrival which is okay I suppose as it arrived within that time frame.
When we set everything up, we realized that it was much smaller then what we ordered, to make sure that we were correct, we checked the packing slip and the box that it arrived in and they sent us a completely different model. We called Wayfair, the company who shipped the product and spoke to a really nice gentlemen. He was apologetic and said he would have the correct product shipped to us and we'd receive it within 2 days, in which we did.
We then began to set up the correct model, and this one arrived without an instruction booklet, but we were able to find it online at wayfair.com. Each piece came damaged in each corner, and not a little scratch, a fairly large indent/hole in each corner.
This product states it can hold up to a 60" television, we have a 50" Panasonic Plasma and it just barley holds it. We purchased this as it has a mount and wanted to have room below the TV to place a sound bar as it wouldn't be in the way of the TV sensors. There is no room on the bottom for anything as the TV sits flush against the bottom, so we ended up mounting the sound bar to the top of the entertainment center.
Returns to this company seem to be a hassle. When we asked what to do with the wrong model, the rep said to hold on to it and they have 3 weeks to send us an e-mail to try and reclaim it, and if so they would send someone to pick it up for free as they sent us the wrong product and if we don't hear anything then we'd get to keep it. We received 4 canned e-mails asking for pictures of the box, we responded to each of the e-mails with the pictures and they kept saying that they couldn't open the file. At the last e-mail I told them to stop sending me canned e-mails or send someone to pick it up. 2 hours later we got a reply saying that the pictures came through without sending them again. It still hasn't been the full 3 weeks yet, so we are still holding onto the box and the partly set up wrong model in case they do want it back. If not we will ask someone if they want it or just donate it as it's useless to us.
So, all in all, if the correct product was shipped the first time, if it came with an instruction book, and if it wasn't damaged, it would have been great. Needless to say we won't be ordering from Wayfair again.
