Copper is known to keep down on germs, so I wanted solid copper. This is a beautiful addition to my back yard. Do wish I could have seen all sides of this bowl prior to purchasing though, also had it made VERY clear, I NEEDED something to mount it on! Those facts have nothing to do w the quality. (just the vendor's communication).

There is a "receiving nipple" underneath to screw into an Iron stand, which should be purchased together if you want to make use right away!

It is beauty and function as a bird bath, if you had wanted it to be used as any other sort bowl, BE AWARE of the "Receiving thread's 'nipple'. (It might get in your way)

There's nothing to dislike about this bird bath. It doesn't keel over when a squirrel gets into it because it's screwed onto a wrought-iron stake that's pretty steady, and the copper adds a nice touch to the garden. We'll see how long it lasts -but it did survive a heavy snowstorm already, so I'm hopeful. It's a simple, pretty item; and the birds like it a lot

This is the best bird bath I've had. I purchased the Wrought Iron Stand that goes with it .

The birds love it and it is easy to clean. I like the way the pounded copper shines in the sunlight.

It took the stand 7 days to get to my home. The copper bowl took 2 days on Amazon Prime,

I would give this copper bowl and stand 5 stars.

This is a very nice bird feeder and mounts securely to the Straight up post I also purchased with it.

Small and a bit shallow. You'll have to fill it several times daily if you live in a warm climate. In addition, placing it where the Sun shines causes the water to heat. Are you wanting to watch birds frolicking or parboil them? Not a practical product for the Southwest unless in a totally shaded area.
