I've used this now for over a year, and it is so much better than the cheap grate that was in the fireplace when I purchased my house. The other grate was too small, plus it had actually overheated and sagged over time. This is a very sturdy grate, well worth the money.

Had to return the first one I received because it arrived broken. Although Amazon was quick to replace it, the second one was poorly made. This item is too big & too heavy to be packaged the way it was. My recommendation ... order the smaller version!

This larger size grate is hard to find and fit our extra wide fireplace very well. It seems very durable, price was more than competitive.
