I've just scoured the web looking for these. I bought some from another site a couple years ago, and absolutely love them, and I needed some more. They hold, securely, a full stocking and they easily blend in with whatever decorations you might have on your mantle otherwise. An added bonus for me is that I can hang my garland in the little space w/ the stockings. There's a little rubbery/plastic piece under the top part of it, so it doesn't dig into the wood mantle. It's nice with kids around, too, because while your stocking might fall down (it'd be tough to do) there won't be a clunky stocking hanger falling on your baby. Highly recommended, was sad to find out more places weren't selling them.

I ordered this item from Sterling Pear and was absolutely thrilled with the item. There are four separate stocking holders per package and they are fairly lightweight and not clunky at all in comparison to stocking holders I have used in the past. That being said, while they are not heavy, they are very effective at holding on my mantle. I tested these out the other day (and while I certainly would not recommend trying this at home) asked my two year old to tug on the stocking (supervised, of course) we were both surprised that the mantle clip held firmly. The rubber underside to the clip holds pretty well.

But a good thing to note is that had my two year old gone on all popeye on this clip and was able to pull it off, it would not be too much of a risk the lightweight design makes it less of a hazard than some of the heavier, but far less grounded ones, I have used in years past.

(Bear in mind, this does not mean you should have your children try to tear them off the mantle, but just thought I would let you know. If anyone does not like this review, please don't let it be because of my parenting skills :-)).

I am excited to try more things from this vendor and hope to upgrade some of our other holiday decorations for this year.

I love these Mantle Clips! I had regular stocking holders for years and they kept falling off my mantle and marring the paint. I decided enough is enough and purchased Mantle Clips. They were reasonably priced, hold a heavy filled stocking and are beautiful with any decorations. Much better than sitting stocking holders and I recommend them highly.
