This is a a very nice looking bucket with an attractive wooden handle. Plus they throw shovel in to boot.

It was purchased to hold pellets for our stove. It will not hold a 40 pound bag, but enough to stoke the stove for the night if low. Just right for us.

Also, if you had a wood stove it would work well for paper, kindling, starter, matches or when you need to scoop out ashes etc. Being metal with a sturdy handle it is perfect.

I would recommend as it is sturdy and attractive.

I leave this besides my wood stove and clean out the ashes every other day. Good quality works great for its intended purpose. The short shovel is very handy it would be a pain with a regular fireplace shovel. David.

Have been using a regular aluminum bucket however this held alot more soot and the shovel is very helpful. have had for 3 months now with a lot of use and it is holding up very well.

The bucket does what it is supposed to do, doesnt even look bad, but feels a bit flimsy, at least the bucket does.

The shovel is really not bad.

For that price you would really not find anything compareable, I tried.....

All in all, not a bad deal but because of the thin material i give it a 4 out of 5

I purchased this coal scuttle to hold the leftover pellets when I load my pellet stove. It sits next to the stove and looks very nice there. It holds more than you'd expect and seems well-made, if a little less heavy than I expected.
