got this for a 60" plasma we just bought , and its great looks nice

is very heavy when it arrives and will need 2 people to assemble because of the weight, but supports tv well and has plenty of room for all our surround sound stuff, blu rays and hides wires in the back

I really like this stand. It is very sturdy. My only complaint is that it is very heavy, but that's hardly a complaint. After all, its weight is part of the reason it is sturdy. It can be a bit difficult for 1 person to put together by themselves because of the weight, but I was able to complete it. The assembly process is very straight forward. The biggest difficulty comes from placing the glass, since the tempered glass is hefty and rather large.

I bought this because I saw it had a 5 star rating. It came bent up the middle so badly I didn't even bother putting it together. I am very disappointed. I am going to process the return right now and hope they fix this quickly.

Buy Carved Wooden Fireplace Screen, in White

We bought two (2). We were looking for dog gates for our senior 80lb. dog. for our staircase. Didn't l like most of the gates out there, and I started looking for fireplace screens. Most of those looked unsightly -and found this -a faux fireplace screen (faux bc it's made of wood).

Works well at the top and bottom of the staircase -perfect, size too (allowing enough space on the side to allow our cats to continue access to staircase).

Note: Our dog is well-behaved, and won't try to push aside this gate (doesn't even try to push open doors -usually peers in and waits until a command to enter is provided) so I'm not sure if it'll work with more ambitious dogs.

* Pro/Con: It's quite heavy -good for a stand-alone dog gate. The construction's a bit shabby -looks better in the photo/advertisement -and the white paint is chalky (?) and kind of sands off (at least the paint on the stands/legs). We bought two but both stands/legs for each screen are poorly constructed and do NOT fit well at all. In fact, both sets are weak/wobbly for the screen which is quite heavy (as above-mentioned). I've had to add shims but since I do move it frequently (but not roughly), I'm going to have to nail the stands/legs to the screen base. If the legs/stands didn't wobble, I do believe that the screen can be quite stable (because it's heavy).

* I'd prefer to pay $20 less bc of the construction,

This isn't the greatest log loop, but it does the job. I have completely loaded it several times with heavy oak and it hasn't bent, broken, or came loose. It has a matte black finish, is made of tubular steel. The loop part is made of 3 separate arcs that are bolted together to form the circles. The screw holes coincide with where the two loops touch at the top and connect with the legs at the bottom, so there are minimal screw holes. What with the narrow tubing and screws it isn't as nice as a welded unit, but it had free shipping, came in a box, and had a great price.

Bottom line -it is a good price, sturdy and function, but not the most attractive. All things considered and knowing what I now know I would still buy it.

I spent over two hours trying to assemble this rack but eventually gave up in frustration. The assembly instructions were as clear as mud. An engineer friend looked at it and had it assembled in 10 minutes without even looking at the instructions. It turns out that there is a very critical step not mentioned in the instructions. Believe it or not, there is a right way and wrong way to connect the 2 hoops. The hoops are formed from 3 pieces and so there are 3 screw holes and 3 joints in each finished hoop. When joining the two hoops together YOU MUST ALIGN THE 2 SCREW HOLES AND THE 2 JOINTS. I had aligned the screw holes to join the hoops but had not aligned the joints, so nothing lined up after that and construction was impossible. Now that it has been constructed it functions very well and is very strong. I gave the product 5 stars to redress the imbalance caused by people who dissed the product because of their frustration with the assembly instructions. This is a product review not an assembly instructions review.The product is good and should not be downgraded because the assembly instructions are a challenge to some of us. I can't for the life of me understand why the naysayers who threw the thing in the trash spent their time venting their spleen on an Amazon review when all they had to do was email Panacea products and ask for help which is what I was going to do before my engineer friend solved the problem. The manufacturer and Amazon should take steps to ensure that proper assembly instructions are provided for this product.

I purchased this log hoop because my parents were getting rid of their wood since they decided to convert to a gas fireplace. I decided to get a firepit and make use of their wood, so I needed a place to store it all. It was a bit of a pain to put together because the hoops did not line up right, so my husband had to help me. All in all, the price was reasonable and it does the job, so I would recommend it.

While the product in the photograph has a simple and attractive base, the product as delivered has a completely different design for the base piece. As other reviewers have mentioned, the product is basically impossible to assemble without either a drill to make your own holes or the strength of a giant to bend the existing bars to fit. It seems I will have to follow the lead of another reviewer who simply left the final screw out. I would never have imagined it was necessary to read the reviews before purchasing such a simple product.

Not a big deal to me, what annoyed me is that the 2 U shaped legs were missing all of the predrilled holes to assemble the product. I think im going to drill them myself to avoid the hassel of returning and exchanging the product. As far as assembly goes its really not hard at all. I dont know what these other reviewers exepect but there are 10 parts and its a very simple design so im not sure why people are having so much trouble putting it together.

I was very skeptical about ordering this based upon the review saying that it a different gas fitting on it, but the Big Bertha Propane burner also sold here on Amazon (which is exactly the same item, but the Big Bertha model is 3 times as expensive) did not have any reviews mentioning this problem. I ordered this one and did not have any problem attaching it directly to a standard propane gas grill tank. Standard propane gas grill tanks have internal female and external male threads and this one fits the internal female threads. The only thing to remember is that it is reverse thread so you will have to thread it in counterclockwise to attach it to the tank. I have not cooked with it yet, but it did ignite using the electric start and it seemed to produce a very usable flame. I am not too worried about the electric start since you can manually light it.

I brought this for my patio use and was taking a chance based on previous reviews. This turns out to be a great purchase. Easy set up the gas hose from the stove to the propane tank is perfect fit with no problems what so ever. I test for leak with the soap water test and it passes. The electric igniter starts everytime with flying color. Once I get used to how the flame works and adjustment (outer ring and inner ring) cooking became easy. With max firepower with both rings on, you really get HEAT quick. I mainly use the wok on it and really get food cook quickly. I also used my stock pot on this stove with same great result. After a week of outdoor used, I started to see some rust on the frame but I guess this will happen to any metal cooking stove when leave outdoor with the harsh elements. I also would like to see the company make a stand to fit this stove. I currently have it sitting on metal table but would preferred to have a stand instead. Overall, excellent product for what it intends to do with a decent price.

This thing is a beast! Hooks up to a standard US propane tank in seconds and lit the first time for me right out of the box. If it doesn't light up for you, then adjust the gas/air mixture (which you can do for both rings individually).

It is nice and heavy, but the cast legs on mine were a little off. I filed down about 1/16th of an inch on one leg and now it sits perfectly flat and doesn't move at all.

I was a little skeptical of the BTU output since this is low pressure, but it heated up my 20" wok full of oil to 400F before I was ready to start cooking. If you turn the flame down too low, a small gust of wind will blow it out. This isn't a problem for be because I'm using this on an outdoor kitchen cart with a built in wind guard/back splash.

The instructions are nearly worthless, but the bad translations provide a good chuckle.

When I first saw this burner online it looked like the USA made, "The Kings Kooker" which I have had for years and have not been able to find anymore. Unfortunately, it's a cheap overseas knockoff. The plastic turnoff knob was broke on arrival and the electronic ignition did not work. The BTU output is quite low, it took 20 minutes to boil 2.5 gallons of water, not much better that the burner on my stove. The lesson on this is you get what you pay for. First the cons...the product arrived with a bent back brace and a piece of paint finish missing off one of the front braces. Sent an email to Plow and Hearth through Amazon and they shipped out replacement parts the next morning. Excellent customer service.

The pros...with the back braces, the screen will sit out approximately 4 inches from the fireplace. Without the back braces, the screen will sit flush against the fireplace and looks exactly like inserted glass doors. The screen is HEAVY and is beautiful in person. The glass inserts are beveled and show up beautifully against the black and look very upscale.

Totally worth the money especially since the company acted so promptly to correct the damage issues.

Time will tell if it holds up. the picture is a little misleading as it appears to have a mesh screen behind the glass doors it doesn't. Looks good. No idea why these are all so darn expensive I expect it's the cost of tempering glass. Delivery was very prompt and even though the packaging took a beating, there was no breakage or problems. Easy to assemble. Can't recommend it if you live in a very cold clime where you want to avoid a downdraft when the fireplace isn't in use. If your area is more temperate, this might be more in line with what you want. It doesn't "seal" the fireplace, but like I say, it really does look good.

Everything is OK for this screen, but the tempered glass on top of the screen prevents the flow of the heat. The screen looks good too, but with this minor design flow. I have to pull back the screen about 3 inches away from my fireplace for the heat to flow correctly. I thought the tempered glass is pretty, but it actually not noticeable at all. I would buy one without no tempered glass.
