The fireplace mesh is one third of the cost of a fireplace store, but good quality. I bought two, and they are easy to install. Just pay attention to the hanger orientation so you get it right the first time. It took me a couple of times to get it right, because it seems so simple but actually needs to have all the hangers lined up the same way, and the handle on the correct side. Happy I bought them.

We had looked everywhere for a fireplace mesh screen curtain to replace our 25 year old screen. After going to big box stores and fireplace specialty merchants to no avail we resorted to a stand alone screen. While it served it purpose it was intrusive and ugly in our living room. Not sure why I hadn't used "my best friend" amazon to research this product, but one day during a remodel of our home I found it on amazon just waiting for me to order. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Comes in lots of sizes and easy to install.

The product is decent..it was after much research that I found this online.. none of my local hardware stores carried the mesh.. which was very irritating.. but this product came on time.. fit nicely and looks great on my fire place. I would give it five stars but I feel the price is a little steep.. but else it is a good product.. at least the panels are, I am not a great fan of the two "pulls", as they look quite plain..

I currently have the fireplace floor standing but think it will look much better wall mounted. It is electric so the flame is basically a light bulb that flickers with a motor rotating foil. Looks decent but can def tell its a fake flame. The heat it produces is minimal and may be good for a bedroom but not anything much bigger. The heat is pushed out the top of the unit so nothing can be with 4ft of the top. Also since heat rises most of it goes right up to ceiling. I have a ceiling fan to help with this. The glass cover is nice and makes it look nice when hung on wall. The unit looks nice and modern and produces some heat. It's more for looks than for purpose.

This fireplace is fantastic! I loved it so much I bought two of them. One for my bathroom and one for my computer room. It looks so real and cozy and is illuminating! If I had more rooms I would buy one for each of them, thats how much I like them. Thanks again amazon it's a winner!

I like this sleek contemporary black fireplace. The white coals are real and have to be placed on the bottom shelf before sliding on the black frame. Right now I am just using it for decoration. I haven't tried the heat settings yet. I placed it on the bottom shelf of my baker's rack. I removed the top shelf of my baker's rack because the instructions say to leave a specified amount of space at the top when the heat is on. I chose this product because a similar product from another store was sold out. I like this product better because it can be either wall mounted or free standing. The product I originally wanted was 36" wide and wall mount only. I think it may have been dangerous to mount the other 36" wide product on the wall. This one is just right for me.

The unit is very nice looking and puts out a good amount of heat. The real thanks goes to the Amazon help number I called after the first two units, different makes, were not able to deliver. Your representative stayed on the phone with me until this unit was ordered. He included next day delivery because of the grief we had been through trying to get a stove. This is why I'm giving this unit a 5 star. Nice work Amazon.

I bought this screen because it was at a nice price point between the overpriced rip-offs and the tin-like junk. I was very happy with the product upon arrival, but not happy with the packaging. One of the leaves broke off trying to free it from the box. Once in place, many people have commented on how beautiful it is. The tea lights really do add a nice touch. I would certainly buy again.

I don't often write reviews, but I really can't say enough good things about this product -it saved me a lot of time in keeping my wood stove insert window clean. I really enjoy making fires all winter long, and as a result, the window in my insert often winds up dirty. This stuff works so well, so easily, that I cleaned the window routinely throughout the year, and it was easy to do. It must have something in it that makes such cleaning easy, because before I would use other types of cleaners, such as windex or something similar, and it didn't do nearly as good a job on the heavy carbon buildup associated with burning fires. So if you are cleaning glass on a stove, look no further, this is the stuff to get.

We tried this after our previous brand was not available. It worked better no question. I can still be tough to get soot off that has been on for a long time but this makes it pretty easy.

After using our wood burning fireplace insert w/blower the "glass" doors developed a heavy coat of soot, creosote. Whatever it's called. The instructions in the manual state to use glass cleaner, soapy water or for stubborn coatings dip newspaper or a paper towel in cool ashes and wipe it on the glass. These methods did not work. After spending time on the internet looking for solutions I tried using a razor blade. This was effective, but time consuming. Online a commercial solution was listed so I decided to try Amazon.com and found this product. I was skeptical, but after following the instructions on the bottle the "stuff" on the doors came off with minimal elbow grease. This product is amazing. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Rutland glass cleaner works. A nice thick paste that takes most soot off the glass without having to scrub too hard. This is one of the best products on the market for cleaning soot off a woodstove glass door.

When I was a boy in the 1950's, my parents bought a toast tite which my sister and I loved. My mother gave it to me when I moved out on my own. When I had a son and daughter, they enjoyed making "flying saucer" sandwiches as they grew up and, after they graduated college and left the area to work, a must on their visits home was to make "flying saucer" sandwiches. I was perplexed as to how my one toast tite should be handed down to them. Then I saw an article in my local paper and my problem was solved. I wanted to let everyone know that I use the old toastite units a lot. I have purchased over a dozen of the new version and they are GREAT!! I am using the new and old and you can not tell the difference in the way that they work. In reference to the person that reviewed with a 1...a lot of the old ones are aluminum. They seem like solid steel but they are not. They had some that were made of thin steel but the aluminum ones are better. I would buy this new product many times. Thank you Toas-Tite LLC for starting them back into production!!!!
