This fan works very well to circulate air through the firplace heatalater system. The fan comes with a mounting bracket, mounting hardware and a long plug in cord with a thumb rotory switch. It is barely audioble when running.

The fan is effiecent and a great value for the money, we heat our house with wood stoves and the fan really helps move the warmed air to colder parts

I mounted this fan at the top of a doorway to move warm air from a room heated with a pellet stove to the rest of the house. I choose this model because of its rating of 105 cfm, which is twice that of similar fans. I liked so much that I added a second one to the doorway to further increase the air flow. It is very quiet compared to other fans. It seems to have excellent bearings it takes about 60 seconds for the blades to stop moving after it is turned off!

The other reviewers are correct about it being quiet but I am not finding it very powerful. Maybe the room is too large but I thought it would move the hot air better than it does. I am not sure if it makes any difference.
