This fireplace is better than described or pictured. It was easy to put together. The wood tone and material is very handsome and well made. I like it very much regardless of whether it is turned off, or with the flame one, or with the heater on.

I bought these because I liked the artwork on the box. HOWEVER: first match I tried did not light using the striker panel on the box, and broke off near the head on the second try. I managed to light the second match, but had to hold it near the head to avoid the fate of the first match; it also would not light using the supplied striker panel -I had to use the panel on another box.

Edit to add: After a little ""practice" and a light touch, I have been more successful in getting the matches to light. You need to be in a sort of relaxed meditative state, which works well with the ritual of using them :-)

This product is basically 100% pressed wood with a paper simulated wood grain finish over it. Be ready to screww your azz off, because nowhere in the ad on amazon did it say anything about assembly required. This is "furniture in a box" many parts and many, many screws and fastener blocks. I was expecting this item to arrive ready to plug into the wall, NOPE!. 3 boxes and alot of parts. If not for my son who is a carpenter by trade offering to assemble this product for me, it would have been right back on the truck returning to the seller. if you decide to order this product or anything similar, I would recommend having a power screw driver available to make it easier and speed up assembly time. Also the assembly instructions could stand to be revised a bit.

well made bracket for mounting the heart shaped bird bath. Finely machined and coated, apparently, to last a while. Threaded post had no trouble fitting with the sleeve on the decoration. Mounted easily on a 4X4 post (full size). Did not come with mounting screws and anteque copper colored screws are far between, but it won't show and holes are properly sized for sturdy screws.

I purchased this cap mount to mount an Achla birdbath with a threaded mounting female end on the underside of the copper birdbath.The first cap mount I got from Amazon was defectivethe threaded stud was welded to the flange in a crooked fashion. This made the birdbath sit down on one side and up on the other. I returned the flange/stud and the replacement was perfect. The stud was at the correct 90 degree angle to the flange and the birdbath sat level on the post. This cap goes on the top of a 4X4 so your cut on the 4x4 top needs to be level or close to level. All in all this cap made it easy to mount the birdbath.Just screw it downwards on the flange. I would buy this again if I needed another one!

I looked at every fake fireplace and settled on this one because of the size and the weight. We wheel it from the bedroom in the morning to the living room and back into the bedroom at night. We don't use the baseboard heaters at all anymore. It is easy to move around and heats up the room really quickly. I purchased this console somewhere else right before Christmas to put my new 42" plasma tv on. It looks nice and is a heavy piece of furniture. Unfortunately, it has started to scratch, warp and buckle already. The only thing on top of it is the tv. I know it cannot be from the weight. Unfortunately, it is too late to take back to the store and the manufacturer says it is our fault because it must not have been level. My husband is not new at putting things together...he has a lot of carpentry experience. It looks like we got a defective one and the manufacturer does not stand behind their product.

First of all the service from Amazon was great. It was shiped and delivered nearly a week sooner than I expected.

As for the TV stand it met my expectations for quality of materials and finish. The color matched the online illustration and my living room furniture almost perfectly. All the visible outside veniers are oak some inside are birch but stained to match the oak. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and the piece went together with relitive ease. The only time I needed an extra hand was to drop the top on. The only tools needed were flat blade and philips screwdrivers.

The hardware was of good quslity (all metal, not plastic) and there were no pieces short or missing. In fact several extras of various pieces were provided.

The only real problem I had was the hinges on the doors were set too high and they rubbed the top when closed. In fact one door wase bound and would not close. As a quick fix I shimmed up the top to correct the problem but the hinges realy need to be reset 1/8" lower for proper clearance, which I intend to do soon.

All in all I am pleased with this product and it looks great with my new 47" flat screen on top.

Shipping was very quick. I do take issue with the hardware. The screws didn't fit to attach it to the doors. The screw didn't seem long enough, so that was no problem. Purchased another longer screw(s) and it still wouldn't fit. The problem is the threads on the pulls wouldn't allow me to set the screw all the way for it to stay on the doors. I plan to fix this myself, as I feel contacting the company would take too long (my husband is a general contractor and can fix it himself). The look and finish of the wood is good.

Overall we are very satisfied with the finished product, it looks wonderful in our great room. Assembling was fairly resonable except it was missing steps 3 and 4. Obviously they weren't required steps to assemble the stand because we got through it fine. My hubby who is very particular about furniture was very happy with the end result. HOWEVER, BE AWARE OF THE COLOR IN AD. If you're looking for a nice light maple or light oak type finish this is not for you!!! The color is a rich, darker oak finish almost cherry bu very attractive and rich looking. VERY HAPPY!

I was looking for an alternative to an expensive gas fireplace insert, and thought this looked like a good option. I first saw it on Amazon, but when I saw a display model in another store I was convinced. I bought on Amazon since they actually had it in stock, whereas you will have to special order other places. This fireplace is well-built; the gauge of the steel is very thick and the doors opened and closed flawlessly without adjustments (there are instructions for how to adjust the doors).

Installation was super easy. You really can install without any tools if you don't use the riser bar, which is a 2" bar that makes the fireplace a bit taller depending on the size of your fireplace. Even that only required a screwdriver and pliers. It is basically attached by clamping to the steel beam that is standard on the inside of a masonry fireplace. The only part of the installation I didn't like was adding the fiberglass insulation, which I did outside to avoid making a mess.

I've used this about 10 times since I've owned it and have been very happy. It really cleans up the room since we don't have to looked at a sooty fireplace when the glass doors are closed. I already bought another one for my other fireplace.

One more note; you have to leave the glass doors open when there is a fire. I think this is true with most fireplaces, but the image is misleading. The doors open 180 degrees so you get a full view of the fire.

These doors look really great and helped keep the "fireplace" smell out of my house. One bit of advice, I could have ordered a medium or large based on the measurements. I ordered a medium but wish I would have ordered a large. If your measurements suggest that you could use one of two sizes, go with the larger size. Fiberglass insulation runs around the interior trim and is only held in place if there are bricks behind the trim. While the medium covered the fireplace opening, the fiberglass would not stay in place because there was no overlap between the brick facade and the door trim.

I'm giving this 2 stars because one of the screen doors was slightly defective. The screen had a 'dent' in it, meaning the screen was improperly sized when it was assembled. I can pop it back and forth one way or the other. It is very subtle because it is black and the room isn't overly bright but it is definitely noticeable. The other screen door is perfect. This isn't the result of a shipping issue, the packaging and delivery was perfect. Other than this complaint, it is well constructed and would have received 5 stars.

Well get it out when we can. Love the product. I've seen better with the company. I had to drive around for two hours to get rocks for it. They sent them and we got them a week later. Actually I love the stand. It arrive well packaged and on time. The only problem is that there was a small scratched place on the very front corner on the bottom shelf. Because I really like the stand and it would be difficult to try to return it, I used some colored pencils made to cover furniture scratches. It covers pretty well. If not for the scratch, I would have given the stand 5 stars.

My wife and I really like the unit. It is a good-looking piece of furniture. The panel in the back hides all cables, so that it does not seem to clutter up the area. There is very little assembly required putting on a few non-skid tabs to keep the shelves in place, putting in a few pegs to give the shelves something to rest on. The only complaint I have is the instructions do not clearly distinguish the three shelves as to which goes where. The instructions talk about a 8 mm shelf and a 6 mm shelf. Other than that, it's great.

I searched for a corner unit for the longest time. I even went to the local wood shop and gave them my specifications but they never got back to me. Fortunately, I found this stand. It is VERY well built. Takes about 10 minutes to put everything together (most of the time was spent putting the glasses on. The structural part (wood) folds out and snaps into place. My TV was 55" and this unit can handle it with no problem.

I've had many compliments on this unit. It looks modern, sleek, and classy all at the same time. Just awesome.

I've been wanting a gel fireplace for a long time, but haven't felt comfortable with the price or size of many. Here, at last, is a smaller, more affordable option, that makes me smile, everytime I come into my bed/sitting room. I have it in a corner with an antique mantle-clock on the extention-leaf. It's a totally charming piece of furninture, of good quality. I'm a grandmother, and found the assembly to be easy. I've burned the gel fuel, sometimes 2 cans, sometimes 1, and it gives off a cozy warmth, and I love the sound of the 'crackle'. The firebox is small (less than 18" wide,)and as such, will restrict options for inserts, but the cement 'log' which comes with it, and the included loose 'embers' is rather nice, I think. Come summer, I may just place some scented votives in there.

All-in-all, I simply love this little fireplace, and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to dress up or 'cozy up' a room.

I am very pleased with how the fireplace looks....it's a perfect fit for my space. My only negative is the log. It is not large enough to hide the can of gel which looks a little awkward. I plan on replacing the log, with a larger one,so that it looks like a real fire and the can of gel does not show. Otherwise, I am very pleased.

I mounted this fan at the top of a doorway to move warm air from a room heated with a pellet stove to the rest of the house. I choose this model because of its rating of 105 cfm, which is twice that of similar fans. I liked so much that I added a second one to the doorway to further increase the air flow. It is very quiet compared to other fans. It seems to have excellent bearings it takes about 60 seconds for the blades to stop moving after it is turned off!
