I purchased this set for my husband for Christmas. It's a beautiful, functional set with simple, but elegant design. The tools are well designed and more functional than fireplace tools we've had previously (ie. the shape of the shovel and the bend of the brush). However, the set is quite small standing only 25" at the highest point and substantially smaller than other sets we've owned. So if you need a massive look or feel, this is not the set.

Bought this item from Amazon and I thought it was a bit overpriced. Was I seriously going to consider paying that much for a fireplace tool? It's worth it. Well designed modern clean lines and well thought out -a good example of form plus function.

I've had this set for about 5 years and am glad that I bought it in the first place. It's a great product for those of us who like clean, modern lines. And it sure looks and functions a lot better than my regular, run of mill set from the hardware store.

These fire place tools look very elegant and have a nice stainless steel brushed finish.
