I suppose I don't know why I expected more matches. Perhaps it is simply that seven dollars seems excessive for fifty matches, even if the package is nicely printed (the box itself is sorta cheap -the tray is utterly insubstantial). But 50 is what you get. That's 14¢ per match. You're better off getting a box of Diamond strike-anywhere kitchen matches. You get 250 of those for much less money.

This is a sweet looking match box, but I would say it is a bit over priced. Consider what you are getting: a box of matches.
