I got this when it was on sale, and that made it an amazing deal. Even at normal price though, this thing is really nice. You don't need to install it in a mantel, it is able to sit level on a desk or dresser easily. Compared to the other electric fireplaces on the market, this one is definitely the most realistic. don't hesitate getting this, its the best in this price range.

Installed in an existing recessed wall in my living room. It really delivers nice warm air without any noise whatsoever. The timer feature in the remote control is great, the burning logs and flames look amazingly real and the installation was a breeze.

Very nice looking flames. Numerous flame coloration options. Love timer feature/auto shut off. Plug n heat, no set up required. Heats as advertised. Fan is not too loud. Disclaimer: I have only had the unit for a week.
