No flimsy parts, well built...in China but can't beat the price for this set. Really happy that it does not have a wobbly base like most sets. Poker is good length as well, many times they are too long or to short. Looks great next to our wood burning stove

I originally bought this set for my son as a gift. My husband and I were so impressed with it, that we turned around and purchased one for ourselves. The set is very sturdy. It sits nicely on our hearth and does not "wobble" around. Our old set, which was a brass one with oak handles, was not nearly as sturdy as this set. (Our old set also cost significantly more than this set!) The wrought iron has a smooth finish to it; the center weave gives the set a nice look; and, the tools all look well made. So far, they have worked out great. (As a side note, for those buyers also interested in a log holder, we also bought the "Uniflame Black Wrought Iron Log Rack with Scrolls." It matches this tool set perfectly!)
