We love the heat and look of the realistic flame . Infrared heat is warmer and cheaper than any other we have used. The flame can be dimmed, the heater is safe for kids and pets.

We actually removed the heater from the mantle and inserted it in a piece of built in birch furniture and tiled a travertine /glass mosaic tile around it.

Very simple out the box and plug in!! Love it looks really nice. Now want to order a second unit for another room in the house.

We bought the infrared fireplace to put in our enclosed patio/sunroom. We tried it out on a cool morning and it did heat the entire room (12x16). I would recommend this product.
