I also bought this statue as a memorial to a kitty-friend. I made/decorated a concrete stepping stone for the garden, and pushed this statue into the wet cement. So far so good! It looks great, in my humble opinion, and it seems sturdy enough to withstand the weather. I guess we'll see how it looks after winter...

I got this today. It is awesome. I had a Siamese cat, Misha, who passed away 3 years ago. :( I ordered this cat as a memorial marker to place at her gravesite. This is stunning and very regal, just like Misha was. Now, "Misha" can be outside among the birds and trees as she always wanted. It is heavy enough to withstand the wind. It is also made to withstand the outside elements. It is regal and very cool. I absolutely love it. It is the perfect touch to Misha's grave.

UPDATE after just a couple of days: In order to have this outside, you will have to make provisions for it; like possibly bury the bottom of it in the ground for support; or place some heavy stones around it, so the wind does not blow it over. It is pretty fragile; the arms and tail are very narrow, etc. and would probably break if it tipped over. It is a complete work of art. It is very detailed and almost too "nice" to place outside, you know? I decided to leave it inside. It will still be Misha's memorial. It matters not whether it is inside or out. It is a very beautiful, cool piece; a sort of rich chocolate brown.

My step-daughter has two Siamese cats so I bought this for her as a Christmas present. She just loved it and it is beautiful in its simple design and very well made! I saved $30.00 by buying it on Amazon instead of another website! Arrived very well packed and I just love it. Note the size as it is not very big and I would not suggest putting it outside. It is a much better indoor statue for any decor!
