We just recently moved into a "new to us" home and inherited an atypical fireplace mantel. I was a bit concerned that these clips wouldn't fit (or any type of stocking hanger for that matter) but they do! Because of their ability to extend up to 3 inches, I was able to attach them on with no trouble! And, they have a protective surface on both sides so that there is no need to worry about scratching or dinging the mantel. Since we have yet to unpack our Christmas boxes, I hung what I had around....my big ol' purse! I was amazed that the clip could hold such a heavy item...guess we won't have to worry about Santa filling those stockings too full this year!

I needed stocking holders that would not take up a lot of space due to how much greenery and flora I have on my mantlepiece. These are perfect never slip or fail no matter how heavy the stockings get.

These look larger in the photo that they really are. I was concerned they may be too long to fit on our mantle but they're not. We have a concrete mantle that has a rough front edge so normal stocking hangers don't work. There's no way for them to sit flush. These are perfect. Can't wait to use them!
