Well, I had high hopes for this lighter. It looks nice, but is VERY difficult to light. I have the valve turned up all the way to maximum and it won't light. Takes like 5-15 tries. Plus the tension on the lighter button is so much that it is really hard to click it and hurts your fingers. I followed the instructions from the company making this product and emptied it out (just in case there was air in it). I refilled it as instructed and same issue.

Flame is inconsistent too. Sometimes small...and sometimes GIANT. Would not recommend. Unfortunately there are not a lot of good options for refillable lighters that I have seen online. :(

arrived quickly, looked as exactly as pictured and worked perfectly the first time. plan to use it at our daughter's wedding next month to light the unity candles. but this is something i expect to be using all year long to light candles at home.

It is very elegant looking, but function leaves much to be desired. It was always hard to press the trigger, but after only a few uses, it takes me two hands to make it work and my wife cannot do it at all. Then, it never lights the first time--usually not until the second or third try. If I were a marketer, I'd just say that it is child-proof! (It's not a bug, it's a feature!)

It may simply be the one I received is bad or that directions (there weren't any) might explain how to change the pressure required to use it or to open it to refill. Bottom line, we're not very pleased with it.

Received the item and did not work.

Informed the seller it is defective. Possible a bad flint/ignite? I'm not sure but I know it doesnt work

Seller responded by telling me to adjust the flame. Ok. Good advice, if I said the Flame was low.. but common sense told me to try that first.

Yes I know it does not come with butane.

Yes I know it needs triple refined butane to work.

Yes I k now how to use a lighter!

Seller is simply stalling to prevent a return for a product that is defective.

Product is nice (in appearance) But since the seller is uncooperative and the product downright defective....

I have no choice but to be upset. I would have happily opt'd for an exchange but since the seller is trying to get out of any responsibility ... I will fully return it and buy elsewhere.

I have 2 and have given 3 as gifts. Friends love them & say they r so classy looking u can leave them out.
