This fan is not the most powerful one you can buy but it is the perfect flow. When we watch t.v. and have the fan on the old one was so loud you had to turn the volume way up on the t.v. This one is not quiet but its not loud its the perfect blend of air volume and noise. I would for sure buy this one again, {assuming it lasts a while} i used it all last winter and loved it. If it doesnt at least last 5 years i am going to be a little upset so we will see.
