I was a little worried ordering this because the picture doesn't show much and the detial on this is minimal. When it arrived, I was impressed with the quality of the wood and design. Install was easy and it looks great above my fire place.Needed a quick fix to a fireplace situation. The product does its job, but that's it. Don't use the skinny strip of wood for mounting. Get yourself a 2 x 4
