I've learned that it's important to buy a good quality grate as the cheap ones will disintegrate within the season. This grate is heavy duty cast iron and looks like it will last a long time before needing to be replaced. I use it in a fireplace insert so it gets plenty hot. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, ordered it on 4/25 and it was at my door on 4/29 great service by the seller (Aiden's Hearth), I would not hesitate to order from them in the future.
