We have this unit in our 40' Motor Home and it has been a life saver on cold nights when we were staying in Yellowstone National Park. It is simple to operate with a remote and warms the whole motor home easily. We had one problem after years of use and Dimplex walked us through the replacement part procedure. Really nice people to work with. The fire looks real and it's a joy to sit and watch. No noise what so ever. I would recommend this electric fireplace to anyone.

Although the shipper damaged this item (as it was arriving at my door), the seller shipped a new one and we now have heat in our mountain cabin. The flames are very realistic, and the built in heater does a good job on a good sized room. I bought this to be the center of a custom fireplace mantel I had built. Haven't finished the construction, which involves a new TV niche above the fireplace. I think it is going to be a beautiful asset to my living room.
