I recently ordered this stand because it was moderately priced. When I received it the packaging was good, really nice size for the limited space I have and the mount part that the TV goes on swivels L/R so that's nice. I had this item on my wish list for about 2 weeks debating whether I should buy it or not. Luckily it went on sale at a local store for nearly half this price, so I figured it was a sign to get it. I could not have been happier. When I was first setting it up, I was convinced mt 40" TV would surely tip over the stand, but its been a week and it's holding strong. I needed to replace my TV stand with a smaller one that could still hold a 40" TV to fit into my new smaller apartment. If you need to save space, this is the best stand out there for mid sized TVs (Fits up to 42"). I couldn't believe how fast it showed up. I did standard shipping and it showed up the next day. Unreal.Assembly seemed intimidating, but like other reviewers have said, it's actually easier than it looks. The one thing I don't like about it is that my TV seems to be tilted toward the floor ever so slightly. When sitting down you don't notice it at all, but looking at it from the side you can tell that the screen does not quite point straight out.
Overall, perfect solution to my space needs and it looks really good.

The ignitors were as expected. I bought a two pack because my Mt Vernon eats ignitors. One note.... these ignitors did not arrive with the installation instructions. Previous ignitors that I had purchased arrived with installation instructions. If I hadn't already replaced several ignitors.... I may have had some problems without instructions.

This product worked out great. The old electric cord work on the new blower and it fix into the existing place the old one came from. There is Velcro on the back and it is holding it is place. This item is cute to look at but does not perform the "steaming nostrils" function at all.We tried several locations on our very hot woodstove but no results.
We have been in touch with the seller (3rd party) and she was very nice about return/ refund/ exchange.
Also was urprised that the top piece is only made of China glass, not cast iron like the bottom.
Could break on the first fall if you weren't very careful.

These gloves were absolutely gorgeous and well-made, but they were about 2 sizes too big for my small hands (I wear a size 6 wedding ring if that helps) and I had to return them. It made me sad to return them because they were otherwize beautiful and flawless. But I could not manage to move anything with these huge gloves on.

This fireplace is fabulous! It arrived sooner than promised and in perfect condition. All I did was remove it from the carton and plug it in. It is a very solid, "real" fireplace. The fire is amazing. I stare at it and can't get over how realistic it is. The heat is optional which is great in Hawaii. The remote serves all my needs. It's so wonderful to enjoy a beautiful fire in the evenings!

I needed additional heating in my bedroom and this fit in the existing old fireplace perfectly! I was so excited because it looked so nice and couldn't wait to plug it in and get it going. Then, as we attempted to use the remote, or find control panels on this Yosemite model, we resorted to the instruction manual. The manual did not even match the heater. The remote described in the manual was not the remote with the unit. The control panel described in the manual was not on the heater, nor was there any control panel. Then I found white tape over a certain section of the manual. I held it up to the window to be able to read through it and it was the name of a company in China that made the heater and the directions to the street and building where it was manufactured. Someone had tried to hide that! There was an on/off button, that's all. We couldn't even get it to turn on! I feel like this was the same deal as the individual that bought a Coach purse at a "deal" online, and it was a fake made in China. Except this heater was expensive, and I believe I was sent a fake! I repackaged this heavy thing and I have asked Amazon to reimburse me.

I don't understand. I just opened these gel fuel cans last night and placed them in a fire bowl lava rock thing I am making and I lit one just to test it and it worked. I uncovered all 6 and placed them where I wanted them. I had only lit one briefly as a test and then today I tried to light all of them and they don't work? Item does not fit the Bird Brain Firepot and requires an adapter which the Firepot did not explain, nor did the gel until I got it out and found it doesn't fit. Now I have a firepot and no gel and gel and no firepot (that fits each other)!! Does not fit into our 2.5" Firepot. The neck tapers so canister does not fit. Gel does not stay lit. Fizzles out in 30 seconds then need to re-light and re-light, etc. This stuff is HORRIBLE!!!! Hopefully they will be able to bring back pourable gel.

Cheap Catalytic Combustor for Vermont Castings Wood Stoves (Models
Ordered Mondayunit was at the door Friday in spite of the Mid Atlantic blizzard of Feb 2010.
Unit looks just like the original Vermont Castings combustor and works just as well. I installed it immediately and am now again enjoying the double combustion heat output that the Encore stove is built to deliver.
It replaces a 4 month old bargain (not from Amazon) priced ClearSkies CS-200 that never worked properlyeven after returning the first bad one for exchange.
I found the Amazon description confusing (mixing some text about a round unit in the description of the rectangular unit that I needed) so I called Condar and spoke to the Customer Service rep who was friendly and ensured that they shipped the right one.
While not inexpensive, the Condar unit is very effective and well worth the price paid.
Forget the bargainsthis is the unit to buyand it's made in the USA as well!
It is an exact fit and the build quality actually appears to be better than OEM.
I will buy this replacement again when needed.
On the bright side, the return and refund went through smoothly, though I ended up paying for the return shipping which I shouldn't be responsible for as this was the seller's error. So now I'm out most of what I was saving by ordering here instead of from the manufacturer.
My advise? If you want a Condar combustor, order straight from Condar. You can actually call them on the phone if you need to.....

I recieved the catalytic combustor and first thing I noticed was it did not have the condor stamp on it. And it is not the same construction. no flanges and not as many spot welds. And it measures slightly bigger than described. (Do not buy this product) I noticed a review after I recieved it that it may not be made by Condor. I wish I saw it. After a good bit of research, I decided that I wanted a Condar combustor for my Vermont Castings stove. This listing was cheaper than ordering from Condar and the shipping was much better. My husband intalled this Cat. Combuster in our Defiant stove and it works great again. We hope it lasts a few years. The Vermont Castings stoves are made so that it is a big process to install. We had to get the directions from the VC website. It would be nice if it came with some simplified directions. We will probably get a different stove next time where the CAT can be installed from the top. When it is working well we get only a tiny bit of ash dust/month. It really does burn up almost everything with a working CAT.

I love this heater, in that it heats the finished section of my basement (approximately 550 square feet) very easily. Better yet, my electric bill doesn't go up much at all. I keep it on the regular setting (even without adjusting the thermostat down) and it will make my basement warm and cozy WITHOUT a big jump in cost. This is comforting to know, because I can virtually run the unit all day without cost concerns. I recommend this electric stove for those who have a medium-sized room to heat, and for those who love a nice accent (log & flames) as well.

We live in an old farmhouse with high ceilings that is very drafty downstairs.We heat primarily with our wood stove which does an average job,however the wood floors can be quite cold.I was looking for something to circulate the heat more efficiently.This fan is just what my cold feet needed,I am very pleased with the design and this thing is built like a tank!My husband is going to do some temperature measurements over the weekend to see how effective it is (yes he is a geek)Having owned an Ecofan in the past I can tell you this is worth paying a little more.I will update later...

So, while the hot air naturally rises from the woodstove, this fan pulls air from the top and blows it down or actually angled down somewhat and to the sides. I wonder if this fan could be redesigned (with the same technology and robustness) to flow air from bottom to top (like a normal woodstove fan works) and if this would be better. It probably gets complicated and depends on a lot of things. I am pretty sure however that the fan as is does help the lower area around the stove feel warmer when the stove is first fired up (before the entire room is heated up).

Man is this thing well built, truly like a tank as another review stated... something this robust is very rare these days. I expect it may outlast my woodstove. But beyond it's unusual robustness, it also works and it is incredibly silent. I've used it for the past 3 years on my new woodstove insert. My prior woodstove insert included an integrated fan which was incredibly noisy and unreliable. I definitely wanted to steer clear of an integrated 120V fan and I can get away without one (the ceiling fan helps), but this thermoelectric fan does help spread some heat to the lower areas around the woodstove when I first fire it up. And if lose power in my home in the winter, this fan becomes the only means to help spread the heat.One thing to note... this fan directs air to flow opposite it's natural flow. I sent my ecofan original back and got this for my 10,000 btu Sengoku OR77 Omni Radiant Kerosene Heater running at 275*F and it does a great job sending the hot air angling downward all around it. I also tried it on my 23,000 btu dynaglo in the basement running at 350*F and since it's only a half-inch bigger around than the heater, the air went out mostly horizontally but even faster and no hot air was detectable above either heater. The seller isn't very eager to provide info here but you can search the web for pics and specs (and prices). It's a lot bigger and heavier than the ecofan but much more effective and robust and it's not that much more expensive than the heavily taxed canadian product so it's really a bargain.

Received the unit on Tuesday and installed it on Wednesday. We put it into our "entertainment center" which is a set of kitchen cabinets with a formica top. Merely removed the center door post/support from one of the cabinets and slid this unit into it. Filled in the sides with maple that we painted black to match the stove insert. Really looks good sitting into the cabinet under our television. "Flames" do look realistic and the "brickwork effect" helps to make it look like a real fireplace. Flames are adjustable to 6 different height/glow settings. Will probably never use the heater aspect of this because we live in Arizona and don't really need to. I did try out the heater just to see how loud the fan was. Not loud at all and, if used, wouldn't interfere with watching TV or listening to music. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in a "fireplace" but can't install a real one.

I contacted the manufacturer and replacement parts were sent in about 7 days. This repaired the noise and blue LED. I also have a 23 inch firebox. The flame is is good on the 28EF023GRA, but excellent on the 23 inch unit. Logs are different so the flame blues don't show as well on the 28 inch unit.Best Deals for Classic Flame 28 in.
