although the small, is not small by any means, these gloves protect my arms and hands, when tending the wood stove, Sturdy, and durable. My only compliant is that a small should be a small, it fits my brothers hand, who is extra large. :(, but I don't know what I would do without these.

These gloves were absolutely gorgeous and well-made, but they were about 2 sizes too big for my small hands (I wear a size 6 wedding ring if that helps) and I had to return them. It made me sad to return them because they were otherwize beautiful and flawless. But I could not manage to move anything with these huge gloves on.
