This was exactly(!) the fireplace mantel I was looking for. We had to change our fireplace to fit to the mantel (including cutting the legs), but it worked out perfectly. We had an issue with the original order received and Amazon replaced it without a problem. We primed and painted it a glossy white. Very happy with the look and ease of putting it together.

Beautiful mantel, we were in awe at the quality of it! Unfortunately, it was too large for our space so we had to return it but we're still bummed out that we couldn't keep it as a centerpiece for our living room.
