Pretty good value for the price. I do wish it were one piece, as opposed to three. The poker, shaft, and handle are all separate pieces that screw together. They always seem to loosen on mine. I use mine for outdoor campfires, so I may be a little rougher on mine than most.

P.s. If you use yours outside, I've found that a couple pieces of reflective tape on the shaft will help you find it in the dark.

I have used this more than a few times and have left it sitting outside in the elements and it hasn't rusted away.

I have a firepit that came with a poker that had a plastic handle. One evening I stepped on it and it broke. I needed a replacement and bought this. This has worked great. It is all metal and the handle is wood so I cannot step on it and break it and it is not real big so it fits perfectly for storage in my fire pit.
