I needed to replace the old grate in my fireplace. The dimensions were right on. It is made of a nice heavy cast. The self feeder works good. i would recommend this product for any person needing to replace their fireplace grate.

We purchased this grate for a smaller fireplace with an old worn and disintigrating grate. It fit purfectly and seems to be a very sturdy cast iron. Holds the logs well, even though it is not as large as other models. Holds about 3 large logs on top of smaller kindling for a nice fire. Very satisfied!
