This product is fabulous. High quality wood. I actually painted it then put a stone look paint on it. Turned out very nice. It does take two people once put together, as it is very heavy.

I had to speak with my contractor prior to purchasing this item because I knew that it would be too tall to sit on top of my hearth. When I was ready to install it, my contractor and his carpenter came back to cut the legs down to the height I needed (lower part of the leg right above the plinth blocks you can't tell they were trimmed). It looks amazing and everyone loves it. I couldn't have had one made for this price and it would not have had nearly as much personality.
