Where do I begin? This heater is no heater at all. We bought it when our 30 year old wood heater became a hazard. Ordered it from our local lumber company. It does not heat 100sq. ft. much less 600 to 1000. The stay clear glass immediately became covered with soot and within one week the "Z" bar, baffle support fell out. Unable to get a response from the company during the holidays, we continued to try to heat with it. After a couple weeks, they finally called us back, and told us the airflow was affected due to the bar being out, and to just pop it back in. Finally got it back in, only to find it still did not heat well. After about three weeks it is out again. Just fell out while heater was in use. Not being loaded or wood being moved at all. I opened the door to find it lying in the opening. Am in the process to see if I have any recourse or any possibility of a refund!

I've been heating with this stove in Northern MI for two years and for the price it heats as well as stoves that cost three times as much. I should know, my parents both heat with Lopi stoves that are quite pricey in their 2 houses both similar in size to ours. While it doesn't heat the full 1700 sq ft of our house, it keeps the core area around the stove nice and warm and spreads at least a reasonable amount of heat throughout the house to knock off the chill in the distant areas. I would suggest burning only nicely seasoned hardwood in this stove as softwood and even softer hardwoods don't put out the heat. We burn red oak exclusively and can keep the core of our home, which is a 1930's farmhouse, between 65-75 even on bitterly cold winter days. One final suggestion, make sure you follow the chimney guidelines to the letter and install the minimum of 15 ft of chimney above the stove as if you cut corners with it the stove will not draft correctly and won't heat up to it's intended levels. I'd recommend this stove to anyone who wants a good, solid wood stove at a good price.

We purchased this wood stove a few months ago and are very disappointed. The blower is so loud you cant just sit and listen to the fire ( even on the lowest setting). The damper design does not let enough air to the fire so we have to leave the door cracked and cant leave the room and the gasket already fell off and had to be replaced. Do not get this stove. Also it would be nice to have a ash box.

While the stove itself is great (owned it for the last 4-5 years) the blower heater has not worked properly for the last 3-4 years. It is terrible. When it does run it makes a terrible noise and only one of the fans works. We have taken it apart and cleaned it etc. to no avail.

We have this stove in a 600 sf room, and it hardly keeps the room warm. The opening is so small it's hard to get wood into. This stove was certainly a waste of money.

I had to speak with my contractor prior to purchasing this item because I knew that it would be too tall to sit on top of my hearth. When I was ready to install it, my contractor and his carpenter came back to cut the legs down to the height I needed (lower part of the leg right above the plinth blocks you can't tell they were trimmed). It looks amazing and everyone loves it. I couldn't have had one made for this price and it would not have had nearly as much personality.

It's a gorgeous mantel and looks nice on our fireplace; however, when installed onto the fireplace, we noticed the drawer when closed isn't aligned correctly. Too late to do anything about it.

I loved how this mantel shelf has a drawer to keep the fireplace essentials, remote, gas key, matches or lighting materials! I really liked the 10" depth so I can actually put decor items on top of it, rather than the standard 8" you get with most mantel shelves. Shelf is actually supported by wood beam behind the shelf, came a bit warped ( which is why I gave it 4 stars), but was very easy to secure and make level!

Don't think you're getting a cast iron antique showpiece. It's a sheet metal shovel, but cheaper than the local store and no ride necesary to get it. Paint was well applied and seems durable. Shovels ashes perfectly from my small kitchen cookstove and (in season) from our maple sugar evaporator.

I am very happy with my Electric Fireplace. It is very beautiful and well made. It is also very easy to put together. It comes in about four sections plus the fireplace piece and you easily assemble it. I had no problems. Once it was put together, I just turned it on and enjoyed! I would Definitely recommend this fireplace, it was well worth the money. I only wish that they gave you a choice to choose Light, Medium or Dark Oak colors. I would have prefered the Light or Medium Oak color, but the Dark Oak is nice too. It just depends on your taste in the shade of Oak that you like.

I am burning one of these Crackleflame logs in my fireplace as I am writing this review, and I can tell you that I smell no foul odor! I don't know what the other reviewers experienced when using this product, but there are no negative effects from using these logs. And, there is a pleasant crackling sound to go along with the bright flames. No smell, not boring, just right. I recommend these firelogs!

I love how easy it is to light these and that they do provide warmth without too much smoke. The crackling sound is very realistic. However they have a chemical smell, which is bad enough to take 2 stars away, same thing with the regular duraflame logs. I throw pine cones in my chiminea periodically while the duraflame burns and that helps considerably but if you're not lucky enough to live in an area that has them I'd recommend adding some cinnamon sticks, or cedar to help cover it up.

This screen is very nice as far as the construction and sturdiness of it. Its a good deal for a good price. However I was a little taken back by the color when I pulled it out of the box. The picture on here shows the screen as being brown. The actual screen is more copper/red than brown and the leaves are painted green on parts. It may work with what I have since Im waiting to put it up until Ive moved, or I may just spray paint it. Brown with gold flecks would be nice. Either way good deal for the quality, as painting would only take ten minutes.
