Easy to cut with good scissors. I noticed an improvement in secondary combustion over just using fire bricks on top of the baffle for insulation.

Very easy to trim down to the exact size that I needed. I used a basic utility knife. Blanket slid right in to place and I am ready to rock. Old one was badly in need of replacement. This one is standing up nicely so far!
