This will not work for you if your looking for a one hand pair of tongs to adjust stuff in the fire, but with two hands it works really well. It's sturdy and handles a pretty big log. Less curve on the two prongs would make it a touch easier to let go of the log so they get a slight ding on design. But the price is great.

Bought this tool for bringing to camping. It worked great for manuevering logs of all sizes in the fire pit. The only issue was that the tongs get too hot to handle with bare hands, but then that's what gloves are for. I bought a pair of $5 welder's gloves from a local tool store to use with these tongs.

I bought it to use camping and it has been great. After 1 season I'll have to replace the rivets with stronger ones or nuts and bolts.

At this price this grabber is a great no-frills tool. Purchased for my backyard fire pit with the full intention of leaving it out in the weather and this sturdy iron looks to hold up for years.
