First, I ordered a hearth set, with a picture of the tools and log holder. Now the price has been lowered, the picture has been changed, and the description has been changed. Misleading is the kindest word I can think of for it. A more accurate description of that would be unscrupulously taking advantage of people. I want the log holder I ordered.

However, that is not why I gave the tool set two stars. That rating is for the tools alone, not for the dishonesty of the seller. They look nice, but the handles worked properly about the first half dozen uses. Since then, they have come lose every time we use them--and we are very careful with our property and do not have children. They come unscrewed.

I am afraid that the short screw welded to the tool will become stripped by repeated tightening. Unfortunately, the tightening is necessary for the tools to be functional. It is frustrating and unsafe when you are holding a burning log and the tool suddenly turns.

It is hard to find decent-looking, fairly-priced options for fireplace tools. I looked extensively before settling on this set, which at the time cost ninety US and included the log holder. I would advise you to keep looking.

I received the tool set and was very pleased with it but it did not come with Bristol Hearth log holder. I kept waiting for it to ship and never received it. Even the picture that you just sent me to review is of the Bristol Hearth log holder.

I tried to get back on line and it didn't show the Items together anymore, only separate pictures of the items. I'm pretty sure it was for both of them. Would be nice if some one could check this out and get back with me so I could give it a five star.
