Bought these logs for display purpose. Its some of the most beautiful birch, doesn't peel or disintegrate. We bought it in October 2008 and just over 2 years later still looks fantastic. Haven't seen matched quality at any box store, designer studio, or other home store.

I wanted these logs as decoration in the fireplace but almost every log is peeling badly and 5 of the logs have black spots all over them. Plus, they're thin and overpriced.

These logs are beautiful, cut with a fine tooth saw and bundled tightly with rope. I live in a very small apartment but I have them tucked up next to a desk with some white lights wrapped around them and imagine I have a little fire going.
