I ordered some of these last year and we've had a lot of fun with them. They make really pretty flames that last for quite awhile. Whenever we throw some on the fire our guests get all excited and ask how we did that and where we got them. I'm getting one as gift for my dad to use at his cabin. I think he'll really enjoy them.

does not last long at all unless you put all of it on the fire at one time and for the price it should last longer

We used these crystals while camping in a remote New Hampshire State Park last weekend. I had never heard of such crystals, and had no idea they existed. The other couple knew about them and bought them. We had fund sprinkling them on the campfire and watching the colors appear. The two main colors were green and blue. A handful seemed to last for at least a half hour. Including us adults, they kept our 4-year old child entertained.

It's always a nice addition to any campfire to sprinkle a few copper flakes on and watch the colors change... beautiful!

Toyed with the packages before, thought I'd add a little flare to the fire. This works really well in combination with the prepackaged packages. Allows you to spread the color around as opposed to having it located in one place.
