Grady's Online can improve the picture/description of this item and not expect a customer to know the difference between a LLS.CM, (your propane feed to the lighter comes horizontally out of the side of your fireplace) and a LLA.CM (your propane feed comes off the bottom of your fireplace). Grady charges 31% ($5) to "restock" this item and does not help you save money on the return shipping costs, which were more than double their cost in my case. Note the LLS version (I did not see before I bought this one unfortunately) Grady also sells for 10% more has plenty of pictures (apparently customer provided) to help you know you are getting the right item.

Here is what I wrote in response to another reviewer here, sums it up:

I wrote "We disagree. I just received mine, here are many reasons I disagree:

I ordered mine from the Amazon Tablet interface, which cuts off the description BEFORE pointing out it is an "Angle Pattern"

Let's talk about "Angle Pattern", how about just calling it what it is, a 90 degree fitting, as opposed to let's say a straight fitting!

Or, how about we improve this so the same product has both holes, and you pick which hole to stuff (don't take that as a personal attack).

Lastly, since clearly multiple people are complaining about this, how about Grady simply change the bloody name of the product to ... wait for it ... "Canterbury Enterprise LLA.CM Blue Flame Log Lighter (90 degree fitting)"}

Yes, I suspect the product itself is worthy of 5 stars, and that it is a great price. I will cross post this when I buy the Straight one.

To the reviewer that was complaining that you take a 50/50 chance with this vandor by not knowing which one to buy, simply read the description. In the description for this version it says it is the angled pattern, meaning it comes off your gas line at a right angle. The other version is the straight pattern, meaning it comes off your gas line in a straight line. Excellent product.

The low rating isn't because of the product; it's because there is no way to know from the description which of the two available models of the Blue Flame Log Lighter you need.

I had a 50-50 chance and got the wrong one.

I tried to call the customer service number of Grady's Online and could only leave a message that was never returned.

I sent an e-mail to the customer service e-mail address on the packing slip and no response.

I'd like to be able to return the item because the LLA.CM configuration can't be used in my fireplace.

This product works just as advertised. It's so nice to be able to light our outdoor fireplace easily. I had it professionally installed a few months ago and have probably used it a dozen times. A bonus is if your fire is dying out, you can turn the gas back on and get it going again.
