I ordered this because I cannot get the normal gel fuel shipped to my address.. These (together with the fuel) make tiny little fires that hardly make it over the top of the logs... Disappointed. The system does work though and had no problems.. This "media" is basically fiberglass. It should have a warning to wear gloves when handling.
UPDATE: If you spiral up the media into a cone like shape, the flame is high. On the flip side though it burns through the fuel way faster. upgrading the "media" to 4 stars, but the fuel is expensive.
